Fulfillment Is Part Of The Job
We don’t believe manufacturing ends when the last pair comes off the machine. If the product isn’t packed correctly, labeled correctly, and delivered where it needs to go — the job isn’t finished. Most of what we ship leaves here in bulk. That’s the cleanest, most efficient way to move socks. But we’ve built our operation to handle more than just bulk freight, because our customers don’t all operate the same way. Here’s how we approach it.
Bulk Shipping: The Default for a Reason
The majority of orders ship Via UPS to a single location.
Our cartons typically hold between 150–250 pairs, averaging about 30 pounds per box. The exact count depends on the product:
-
A lightweight dress sock is compact. You’ll see closer to 250 pairs per case.
-
A dense merino hiking sock takes up more space. That case may hold 150–200 pairs.
That difference matters. Sock volume isn’t theoretical — it affects freight cost, carton count, and warehouse planning. We calculate this before anything leaves our floor.
Bulk works because it aligns with how socks are produced: batched, inspected, paired, and packed efficiently. Fewer handoffs. Fewer chances for error. Lower freight per unit.
For many programs, that’s the right answer.
Multiple Addresses, One Order
Not every customer operates from one warehouse.
If you place a 500-pair order and need 20 pairs shipped to offices across the country, we don’t need to reinvent the system. We break the order down at packing.
Twenty-five boxes of 20 pairs each? No issue.
This doesn’t happen by accident. It requires organization, clear documentation, and a team that understands how the order was built in the first place.
The inventory is accounted for, the quantities are verified, and the shipment plan is executed without guesswork.
It’s not improvised distribution. It’s structured execution — planned the same way the production run was planned.
Individual Drop Shipping
Some programs require one pair per recipient.
If you need 500 pairs sent to 500 individual customers, we can do it. Each pair is individually poly-bagged, labeled, and shipped direct.
We don’t make it complicated.
You send us a clean spreadsheet with recipient names and addresses. We upload it into our shipping software. When fulfillment is complete, we return that same file with tracking numbers attached to each shipment.
Simple in. Simple out.
If you want to include a thank-you card, insert, sticker, or branded collateral, we’ll pack it with the product. As long as it’s ready to go when the socks are ready, it moves through the same process.
That said, individual fulfillment requires planning. Labor changes. Packing materials change. Timeline expectations change. We walk through that upfront so there are no surprises once production finishes
International Shipping
We ship internationally on a regular basis.
International orders require more setup on the front end — VAT numbers, tax IDs, customs information. That’s not optional. Missing documentation delays packages and creates unnecessary friction.
We outline exactly what’s required before shipment. Once that information is in place, the process runs smoothly.
All international shipments move under FOB terms.
That means once the product leaves our facility, import duties, taxes, and tariff fees are the responsibility of the buyer. We make that clear upfront so there are no misunderstandings at customs.
We typically ship international orders via UPS. In most cases, UPS will provide a direct payment link for any duties or import fees required by the destination country. When documentation is correct and expectations are clear, the process is straightforward.
Again, it’s about preparation, not complexity.
Why We Handle It This Way
We are not a third-party logistics company.
We are a manufacturer.
The difference matters.
When fulfillment happens where the product is made:
-
There are fewer handoffs.
-
Inventory stays under one roof.
-
Errors are easier to catch.
-
Communication is shorter.
-
Accountability is clear.
We don’t try to offer every possible logistics configuration. We support the models that make operational sense and protect the integrity of the product.
Bulk is the standard. Multi-address is manageable. Drop ship is structured. International requires documentation.
Nothing dramatic. Nothing inflated.
Just an operation that understands that shipping is part of finishing the job.
